Bankruptcy/Creditor Rights
Our bankruptcy department represents creditors in all Bankruptcy Courts in the State of Tennessee with a primary focus in the Eastern District located in Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Greeneville. Consumer and business accounts are handled in Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 cases. Representative clients include Ford Motor Credit Company, General Motors Acceptance Corporation, DaimlerChrysler Financial Services America, and other major financial institutions. In addition, we handle other creditor rights matters in The State and Federal Courts of Tennessee.

Personal Injury
Over the years, Stone & Hinds has become increasingly involved in the representation of persons who have suffered injuries from accidents at work, car accidents, chemical exposures, defective products, and accidents resulting from unsafe conditions on premises. Stone & Hinds also handles appeals of claims for social security disability benefits. Our attorneys have specialized training in trial practice in the area of personal injury with one attorney having additional knowledge gained from her training and experience as a former registered nurse.
